WHAT IS LCC?
The Louisiana Champions Cup is a unique mix of six qualifying sport fishing events including the Louisiana Gulf Coast Billfish Classic, The Cajun Canyons Billfish Classic, Faux Pas Lodge Invitational, International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo, Empire South Pass Tarpon Rodeo, and the New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament. Anglers from across the United States compete with aspirations of being crowned with the Louisiana Champions Cup.

ROBERT F. CARTER
Born and raised in Lafayette, LA, Robert F. Carter IV “Robbie” has worked with his family in the sport fishing industry for over twenty-eight years. Owner and Director of Classic Fishing Events (CFE), and a graduate of LSU, he worked with the World Billfish Series and licensed underwater photography to Pelagic Gear. His proudest accomplishments are his three children, a personally awarded Key to the City of Scott, LA, the long-standing success of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Billfish Classic, and the world’s largest Swordfish Cash Award payout. Robbie’s passion for Louisiana fishermen is deep-rooted amongst his peers and lifelong relationships and in the evolution of his Classic Fishing Events brand.

GRETCHEN D. DAVID
With roots running back to Abbeville, LA, both grandfathers as maritime pros, and a father with a four-decade track record of gulf fishing event experience, Gretchen comes from a lineage of ancestry in the deep sea arena. Her passion for the sport fishing game is coupled with her love for action sports and extensive career knowledge in the media and design arena. A Tulane alumnus, International Design winner for Ryan Sheckler, World Cup, and X-Game Champion, Ms. David is one of MBJ Distinguished Business Women of the state and recipient of the MSGCSG American Advertising Federation - Lifetime Achievement Award.
